In this role you will:

Your responsibilities will be to continually improve our existing IT b2b and consumer related infrastructure capabilities, and architect new development solutions to solving existing problems as a Full Stack Engineer.

We are looking for passionate candidates who can work with our team to help turn business-driven goals into cutting-edge solutions and create impactful solutions and help bring our custom built software platform to the next level. The ideal candidate should have a diverse skill-set ranging from UX (UI) Development to Machine Learning Automated DevOps, and building out backend APIs. We're growing fast, and our ideal candidate should share in our excitement to work in a startup-like corporation that values individuals who challenge preconceptions to use "out-of-the-box thinking" for creating innovative solutions, and also has the vision to build scalable products for future success.


Your qualifications are:

Ideal Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in user facing web application development.
  • Strong/Expert-level in backend programming languages: 
    • PHP, Node.JS, or .NET equivalent
  • Strong in all of:
    • Understanding of modern enterprise network infrastructure, and cloud based networking applications
    • Experience working with Continuous Integration and deployment systems (jenkins, ansible, code deploy...etc).
    • Production Experience with live cloud services
    • Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing
    • Cooperating and contributing as a member of a high-velocity cross-functional team with a high variety of shifting roles.
    • Experience in debugging software and hardware problems
    • Knowledge of or experience in planning, estimating, and working from user stories in an agile sprint-based team workflow
  • Bonus Points for experience with:
    • Kubernetes
    • Azure, and Google Cloud
    • Experience maintaining and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale
    • A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g. scripting via Bash, Python, Ruby, etc)
    • Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/ECS)
    • Expertise with AWS (e.g. IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda)
    • Version control system experience (e.g. Git)
    • Experience implementing CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, TravisCI)
    • Operational (e.g. HA/Backups) NoSQL experience (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis)
    • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef)
    • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation)
    • Bachelor or master’s degree in CS, or equivalent practical experience
    • Effective communication skills
