Our Infrastructure Networking teams power mission critical software services that provide inter-datacenter and intra-datacenter network connectivity. We provide a site-to-site secure connectivity solution with fine-grained security policy control. We are transforming our software stack to adopt more cloud native primitives to deliver a reliable, scalable, and feature-rich delivery platform. We are looking to add experienced distributed systems engineers who are passionate, hungry for new challenges, can step up and help deliver on that vision.

Your Impact:

• Traffic path management such as HTTP/2, QUIC, TCP/IP, BGP, IPSec, caching, high-scale TLS termination, DNS management, packet processing and load balancing,
• Our software stack is based on leading open source software projects like OpenVswitch, BIRD, LibreSwan, ETCD, Linux Xfrm and BPF. The opportunities to enhance the capabilities of the OSS software and contribute back to the community are immense.
• Building Networking services on AWS, GCP, Alibaba, and/or Azure public cloud substrates
• Working with Kubernetes, Docker and modern CI/CD technologies
• Participate in the team's on- call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available

Required Skills:

• BS with 10+ years of experience or MS with 8+ years of experience
• Deep knowledge of object oriented programming and other scripting languages: Java, C/C++, Python, Go
• Experience with live site / production service ownership
• Experience owning and operating multiple instances of a mission critical service
• Experience with Agile development methodology and Test-Driven Development
• Experience using telemetry and metrics to drive operational excellence

Open to Fully Remote, Flex (1-3 days/week in the office), or Office-Based (4-5 days/week in office)
