What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Relevant Qualifications: PSV, HGV, or light vehicle maintenance and repair (minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent). We’ll also consider candidates with 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience if you’re not formally qualified.
Full UK Driving License: Must have a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
PCV License: A PCV license is preferred, or you must be willing to obtain one.
Medical Fitness: Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.
Commitment to Quality: A passion for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality maintenance work.
Your Role
As a Skilled Engineer, you will:
Perform planned and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and reactive repairs on a fleet of commercial buses.
Ensure that all vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs meet Arriva and DVSA standards.
Assist with MOT preparation, preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks.
Improve bus reliability through continuous monitoring, maintenance, and repair.

Skills Required
