Position Overview
We are looking for a mid-level Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate would work closely with other test automation and QA engineers to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Python based framework, open-source tools
- Work closely with software engineers to identify, thoroughly document, and resolve defects
- Cross functional collaboration with manual QA engineers, software developers, and Systems engineers to design and develop non-functional automation
- Maintain existing automated test codebases(s) and repositories
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and test robustness
- Provide feedback to development teams to improve product quality and mitigate future issues

Required Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience in automated test development
- Strong programming skills of Python (required) and other languages, hands on experience with test automation frameworks
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON data format
- Familiarity in Continuous Integration, Continuous Development Systems such as Jenkins
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SLDC)
- Proficiency with source control tools and applications
- Proficiency with defect tracking applications
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and processes
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field
- 3+ years’ experience in automated test design and development
- 3+ years’ experience functional and non-functional testing
Additional Information
- The position is hybrid in the Acton, MA office.
- Travel is estimated at 5% but will flex depending on business needs.
NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least 1x/week; may work remotely other days). #LI-Hybrid
Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,900.00 - $106,450.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
