About the Role
As an Engineer within our Power & HVAC division, you’ll provide technical expertise across multiple locations, supporting electrical engineering needs for contractors, commercial clients, and industrial partners. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver reliable solutions and drive profitable engineering revenue.

What You’ll Do
• Design and develop electrical system plans for site-specific projects
• Create one-line diagrams, methods of procedure (MOPs), arc flash studies, and plot plans
• Evaluate site conditions and recommend suitable equipment solutions
• Ensure all designs comply with engineering standards, NEC, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot field installation issues and provide practical resolutions
• Offer technical guidance and engineering support to our Power & HVAC sales team
• Deliver virtual and in-person technical training for technicians
• Review proposals for technical accuracy and feasibility
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a degreed electrical engineer
• EIT/EI certification or eligibility is a plus
• Solid understanding of electrical design principles and industry standards
• Familiarity with power generation systems, especially diesel generators
• Knowledge of arc flash safety standards (NFPA 70E)
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SKM, and Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and clients
