• Administer and maintain the Azure DevOps platform, ensuring availability, performance, and scalability • Define and enforce governance policies for project structure, branching strategies, permissions, and release pipelines • Establish and maintain platform-wide standards for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and artifact management. • Develop and promote best practices for DevOps workflows, including branching, versioning, testing, and deployment. • Provide onboarding, training, and mentorship to engineering teams on Azure DevOps usage and project setup. • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to align DevOps practices with organizational goals • Implement and manage access controls, audit logging, and compliance requirements across the DevOps platform • Ensure secure handling of secrets, credentials, and sensitive data within pipelines and repositories • Support production readiness by enforcing quality gates, approvals, and validation steps • Support and govern infrastructure as code practices using tools such as Terraform, Git, Kubernetes, Argo, YAML templates, etc. • Integrate observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus) into DevOps workflows for proactive monitoring and alerting • Manage and optimize build and release pipelines, container strategies, and deployment automation using AI/ML • Serve as a team lead to offshore Associates with an indirect reporting relationship, providing mentorship, coaching and guidance and daily oversight of workload, priorities and team vision and alignment • Partner with architects and engineering leads to align DevOps platform capabilities with delivery roadmaps• Stay current with Azure DevOps updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex build, deployment, and automation issues • Support release activities, hotfixes, and production deployments in coordination with global teams • Contribute to process documentation, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification, Skills, Experience and Competencies Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field • 10+ years of proven experience as an SRE/DevOps Engineer with a focus on DevOps or related experience • Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code • Strong understanding of Azure services, cloud architecture, and security best practices • AZ-400 Certification (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) strongly preferred • Familiarity with the following: Microsoft Power Platform suite (including Power Apps, Power Automate, and PowerBI), C# developed applications, Docker, LogicApps, Azure DevOps YAML Pipelines, PowerShell experience is preferred
