Drives incoming material quality consistency and continuous improvement for semiconductor manufacturing. Responsibilities include configuring SAP QM and supplier/material quality systems, performing inspections, characterizing materials, establishing SPC monitoring and reaction mechanisms, managing incoming-material MRB dispositions, and collaborating with global supplier quality stakeholders. The role also maintains QMS effectiveness and applies AI-enabled tools to improve inspection strategies, quality-data analysis, anomaly detection, and process performance.

Job Description:
  • Drive quality consistency for all incoming materials
  • Continuously improve the IQC business processes
  • Setup and maintain SAP QM (Quality Manag ement) and SQM/MQM for incom ing materials
  • Perform incoming material inspection and characterize key incoming materials
  • Setup SPC monitoring program and reaction mechanism
  • Manage materials disposition through incoming material MRB
  • Work with global stakeholders on supplier quality management
  • Ability to work with external and internal groups with a positive, customer service orientated attitude
  • Understand and drive key business processes used at site and globally
  • For business process and/or QMS component that one is responsible or accountable for:
  • a) ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements
  • b) ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs
  • c) reporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management
  • d) ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization
  • e) ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/ business process when changes are planned and implemented.
  • f) ensuring customer requirements are met
  • Apply AI-Enabled and AI-Assisted methodologies, including LLMs, AI Agents, and Generative AI tools, to enhance inspection strategies, automate quality data analysis, improve anomaly detection, and drive continuous improvement in incoming quality control processes.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field
  • Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
  • Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
  • Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role - appropriate AI literacy to use AI - enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem - solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
