Job Description:
Project Planning & Coordination- Support project planning, including the development of schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
- Keep project plans, trackers, and dashboards accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate project activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, quality, and site teams.
- Track progress against planned milestones and flag deviations early.
- Monitor schedules and follow up with owners on pending deliverables.
- Track action items through to closure.
- Escalate potential delays and support recovery plans.
- Maintain project forecasts and status updates.
- Track project costs against approved budgets and forecasts.
- Raise purchase requisitions and support day-to-day procurement activity.
- Follow up on approvals, material deliveries, vendor commitments, and invoicing.
- Maintain cost reports and financial trackers.
- Coordinate project meetings, reviews, and progress discussions.
- Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action logs.
- Provide timely status updates to internal stakeholders and, where required, to customers.
- Build effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Maintain the project risk and issue registers.
- Identify emerging risks and escalate concerns early.
- Support the implementation of mitigation and corrective actions.
- Track issues through to resolution and document the outcome.
- Keep project documentation organized, accurate, and aligned with company procedures.
- Maintain project records, reports, approvals, and communications.
- Support compliance with quality and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
- Support audits and project reviews as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- 2-3 years of experience in project management is desired.
- Exposure to customer-facing projects in manufacturing, renewable energy, industrial equipment industry is preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders is required
