We strive to become the leading gold and silver equipment provider in the Precious Metals recovery market.SummitPro Product Engineer Responsibilities:
- Drive and manage SummitPro proprietary products such as Concentrators
- Actively participate in R&D of new products and technologies.
- Perform engineering calculations, FEA analysis, develop product models and drawings in collaboration with design team(s).
- Perform value engineering efforts to improve safety and quality, reduce equipment fabrication costs and improve delivery time of products.
- Manage deliverables and collaborate with team on execution of Concentrators, ADR and Refinery systems projects.
- Thoroughly understand client needs and specifications in product and project executions to ensure requirements are met.
- Collaborate with EPC’s and contract engineering teams to execute project deliverables.
- Provide engineering product support at client mine sites (pre-commissioning, commissioning, troubleshooting, productivity/efficiency improvement).
- Collaborate with FLS technical teams in Automation, Electrical and Process as required.
- Collaborating with the Chennai design and support staff is a requirement for this position and will require work/scheduling outside of normal office hours.
- Provide engineering support to sales, PLM and marketing teams; active support for proposal development.
- Responsible to provide quality project deliverables on-time and on budget.
- Product engineering support for all projects in execution across product lines
- Perform Risk assessments and participate in HAZOP of equipment and systems.
- Contribute to team improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge and experience in product engineering and design.
- An innovative approach to product development.
- Attention to detail and accuracy of product development and project execution.
- Proficient in developing product models, parts, assemblies and drawings.
- Technical engineering knowledge to collaborate with process, electrical and automation teams.
- AutoCAD, SolidWorks
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in engineering fundamentals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with core discipline design teams to achieve a working solution to problems and/or design issues.
- Reading and understand GA’s, assembly, detail drawings, P&IDs and electrical schematics.
- B.E. Degree in Mechanical engineering or relevant experience.
- 3-5 years in product engineering and project related experience.
