As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for developing and maintaining methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. You'll work closely with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and new products, and you'll use engineering principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing costs, improve product quality, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements. Your expertise in lean principles, automation, and continuous improvement will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and achieving higher levels of productivity and cost-effectiveness. You'll develop and use test procedures, evaluate test results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies to identify root cause issues and solutions that ensure operational success.
Role Responsibilities:
Partner with Operation and Engineer team to improve process capability and product quality.
Responsible for monitoring and improving manufacturing quality through data driven analysis. Analyze trends and identify areas for improvement
Maintain and track quality KPIs such as yield, defect rate and excursions.
Develop and maintain quality dashboards, report and facilitate quality review across stakeholders.
Assist in root cause investigations using methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone chart, SPC and FMEA. Drive CAPA and verify effectiveness of implementation.
Support implementation and compliance with internal quality standards, ISO requirements and Customer specification.
Support internal, external and customer audits.
Maintain quality documentation, procedures, work instructions and records.
Develop training need analysis to improve quality awareness.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, industrial, or related industries preferred.
Experience in Manufacturing Operations quality management
Proven track record of participating in cross-functional quality improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results.
Strong Leadership and motivational abilities
Highly driven, motivated, resourceful with good communication and problem-solving skills
Strong team player
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
