Main Responsibilities:
-Responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits.
-Own and develop equipment maintenance procedures and schedules
-Work with the process owners to develop, prioritize and manage projects to reduce defects, improve availability and find solutions to ongoing problems; and identify, quantify, and qualify cost reduction projects
-Serve as the liaison between facilities, vendor reps, and shift personnel
-Interact with process owners and tool vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies related to process and hardware performance improvements
-Write and publish reports that summarize equipment availability improvements and cost reduction projects
-All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame
- Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
- Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one's scope of work.
For business process and/or Quality Management System (QMS) component that one is responsible or accountable for:
a) ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements
b) ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs
reporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management
c) ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization
4) ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/ business process when changes are planned and implemented
5) ensuring customer requirements are met
Job Requirements, Qualifications/Experience
-Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required
-Must be able and willing to work on non-standard working hours (e.g. compressed, 12-hour night shifts).
-Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
-Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
-Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
-Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
-Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
-Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
