SUMMARY
Work as Mechanical design engineer to understand both internal and external customers’ requirements on AWP to improve products competitiveness from performance and cost. This role also provides engineering support for trouble shooting and localization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
AWP product mechanical structure design to support local customers’ continuously requirements on machine performance and features. Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material. Casting, sheet metal, machining parts and welding parts structure design. Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, and production support. Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability. Provide technical support for other departments such as purchasing, quality, production and aftermarket. Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues. Follow proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards. Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the framework of company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or above on mechanical engineering. Minimum 5 years working experience on mechanical design. 3D CAD skills are required. Creo is preferred. Knowledge on GD&T ASME Y14.5. Experience on GB certification process. Willing to work outside and production shop. Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
