Sime Darby Joy Industries S/B1. To support the business and key strategic accounts so as to achieve the budgeted YTY sales set by the HOD
2. To screen Invitation To Bid (ITB) from client’s vendor portal such Petronas Smart GEP Portals, Shell-Ariba, Petronas SAP, Technip & Sapura.
3. Responsible to provide budgetary quotation/pre-bid activities which
displays support and commitment with existing/new clients.
4. Visit new and existing customers for future business growth. Establish and build strong client relationships.
5. Follow up on pre-sales and after-sales enquiries and documentations
- Prepare sales quotations to customers
- Process customers’ Purchase order or contract
- Process sales order documents
- Arrange for sales invoicing
- Monitor debts and expediting payment from customers.
6. To work closely with customers to meet customers’ need and satisfaction.
7. To submit sales proposal accurately and timely.
8. To ensure compliance in sales process and meeting satisfactory audit in sales process.
9. To optimize our standard products, provide technical and commercial
Proposals to meet customer's requirements
10. To determine the scope of supply and make special provisions to meet customer’s demands and provide technical support during procurement and manufacturing.
11. To outsource for cheaper raw/exotic material to reduce the cost of sales
12. To provide technical support and monitor cost, engineering submission and project execution after order taking
13. To provide after sales support service to customers and spares
requirement by the customers after the delivery of the products
14. To work and co-ordinate closely with the manufacturing department in quote proposal, project execution, procurement, engineering and technical issues, cost controls, etc.
14. To market and promote the Product and Capability of the Company in the
area of Design, Engineering and Fabrication
15. To build partnership with customers in the area of working with and
support each other in new project management & supply
16. To gather survey feedback from clients on Product quality and delivery system so that improvement can be made to serve client in a better and efficient way. Thereby, building trust & confidence with the customer and foster a good long-term relationship with the customer
17. To keep abreast of new materials and fabrication processes.
18. And other responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
Skills Required
- Experience using vendor portals and ERP systems (e.g., Petronas Smart GEP Portal, SAP, Ariba)
- Ability to prepare accurate sales quotations, process purchase orders, and arrange invoicing
- Customer-facing experience: visit clients, build relationships, follow up pre/post-sales enquiries
- Technical knowledge of design, engineering, fabrication processes and materials
- Ability to provide technical and commercial proposals and scope-of-supply determination
- Experience coordinating with manufacturing, procurement, and project execution teams
- After-sales support and spare parts management experience
- Cost monitoring and sourcing skills to reduce material costs
