Job Summary
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve process flow, line balancing, and waste reduction.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Support the design, implementation, and optimization of industrial automation solutions, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), sensors, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Lead and contribute to Manufacturing Execution System (MES) enhancements and Industry 4.0 digitalization projects.
- Manage manufacturing projects end‑to‑end, including new production lines, equipment revamps, and technology upgrades.
- Support compliance with the Machinery Directive and relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners on facilities‑related activities, including utilities, HVAC, compressed air, refrigeration, and building upgrades.
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the food or ingredients industry.
- Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and principles.
- Foundational experience with industrial automation, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and sensor technologies.
- Hands‑on exposure to MES platforms and manufacturing digitalization initiatives.
- Understanding of the Machinery Directive and industrial safety standards.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to work across functions.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Experience working in regulated food manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to Industry 4.0 roadmaps or smart factory initiatives.
- Interest in developing toward future managerial responsibilities in Manufacturing or Engineering.
