Food Ingredients Business Unit
IFF’s Food Ingredients business delivers functional and innovative ingredient solutions that help customers improve taste, texture, stability, and performance across a wide range of food and beverage applications. The team combines technical expertise, application knowledge, and customer collaboration to bring ideas to life and support customer success globally.

Where You’ll Make a Difference- Prepare, develop, and present artisanal gelato formulations using IFF ingredients for internal and external demonstrations
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations at customer sites, trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events
- Support customers by showcasing ingredient functionality, application performance, and product benefits in gelato applications
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to support customer projects and commercial initiatives
- Provide technical input and application expertise during customer visits and innovation sessions
- Maintain gelato laboratory equipment, raw materials, and demo samples following safety and quality guidelines
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, documentation, and internal procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement of gelato application methods, recipes, and demonstration processes
- Proven hands‑on experience in artisanal gelato production or frozen dessert applications
- Strong technical knowledge of gelato processes, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and non‑technical audiences
- Experience supporting customer interactions, demonstrations, or technical sales activities
- Comfortable working independently at events and customer locations
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in collaboration within cross‑functional and international teams
- Willingness and ability to travel as required for customer visits and trade fairs
- Prior experience in ingredient companies or food applications laboratories
- Experience representing products at international trade fairs or customer events
- Knowledge of ingredient functionality (stabilizers, emulsifiers, flavors, or bases) in gelato
- Be part of a global organization with deep expertise in food ingredients
