The Engineer IV, Software is responsible for leading at a team level while designing, developing, and maintaining the OmniCenter platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features, improve existing functionalities, and ensure the reliability of our software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product management to understand business requirements and plan products and features
Work as part of a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
Works on significantly complex problems and provides and implements solutions that are highly creative while also regularly guiding others in their solutions
Leading and aiding in code reviews for fellow team members, as required
Create unit tests to help ensure code quality throughout the application’s life cycle
Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources once deployed
Continue to improve code quality by tracking, reducing and avoiding technical debt
Lead and coordinate efforts to successfully resolve 4th level escalations in a timely and professional manner
Required Knowledge and Skills
Expertise in Object oriented analysis, design, and programming
Strong understanding of relational databases (specifically SQL Server) and experience with database design.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience working in an Agile environment with Scrum methodologies
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Documented experience with mentoring and assisting junior engineers and team members
A can-do attitude and ability to make a positive impact to our culture
Ability to always put the customer first
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
9+ years’ of professional experience building applications with object-oriented architecture
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Experience with FoxPro is preferred; however, candidates with the ability and willingness to learn FoxPro will also be considered
7+ year of Experience in C# and the .NET Framework
6+ years of experience with a microservices architecture
4+ years of experience in Angular 4 or above
4+ years of public cloud experience
1+ year of inventory / warehouse management
Previous experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical experience working with interfaces such as HL7, FHIR. EDI and working with PHI is a plus
