Job Description

As a Software Engineer IV, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining software applications and data flows across our platforms and products. Collaborating closely with Enterprise Architects, you’ll ensure alignment with architecture standards and best practices. Your expertise will make you the go-to technical authority, driving innovation and excellence.

Essential Job Functions:

Design and Build: Create robust software applications that span multiple technologies, programming languages, and database structures. Your work will be the backbone of our systems.

Collaboration: Work closely with business and tech leads, software engineering managers, and enterprise architects. You’ll align technical and business processes, explore cutting-edge technology, and drive enhancements.

Project Leadership: Lead large-scale technical projects, upgrades, and implementations. Your organizational skills will be crucial in delivering successful outcomes.

Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and industry trends. Participate in educational opportunities and maintain professional networks.

Problem Resolution: Collaborate with business analysts and customers to resolve issues and plan for future needs. You’ll operate within an established office environment.

User-Centric Approach: Understand user needs and system enhancement requirements. Your insights will shape our solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or a related field.

  • Experience: 8+ years of technical, analytical, systems, and programming experience.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Extensive experience in designing, developing, implementing, and troubleshooting large-scale software systems.

    • Proficiency in .NET, React, TypeScript, and Microsoft SQL technologies.

    • Strong knowledge of process modeling, data modeling, database design, and API development.

    • Familiarity with cloud and on-premise database structures.

    • Adherence to standardized coding conventions.

    • Strong organizational and planning abilities.

    • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision.
