About Team:
We are Automation, AI and Data (AAD) team that caters to data engineering and analytics, automation and AI solutions for various groups and divisions within Thermofisher Scientific.
Job Functions:

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI applications.

Preprocess, clean, and analyze large datasets for training and testing.

Implement deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision algorithms.

Optimize and fine-tune models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.

Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business partners.
-
Develop and maintain scalable AI pipelines and infrastructure.

Monitor and evaluate model performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
-
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and deep learning.

Implement microservices architecture to build scalable and resilient software solutions.

Use Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure to deploy and run software applications.
How will you get here?Education:
-
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience:
-
6+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering
-
Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks.

Experience with NLP, reinforcement learning, or generative AI models.
-
Familiarity with big-data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps practices.

Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and statistics.

Hands-on experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.

Proficiency in deploying ML models using APIs, Docker, or Kubernetes.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team

Experience in agile development methodologies to deliver solutions and product features.
