Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright (C#)
- Build UI, API, and end-to-end automated test suites
- Ensure reusable and maintainable test scripts following best practices
- Review code and ensure automation standards
- Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and QA processes
- Ensure adherence to SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Drive shift-left testing and early defect detection
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / Jenkins)
- Execute automated tests as part of build and release cycles
- Analyze execution reports and provide actionable insights
- Improve test coverage for critical business workflows
- Track and report metrics:
- Test execution status
- Defect density
- Automation coverage
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure transparency
Technical Skills
Mandatory
- Strong experience with Playwright using C#
- Solid programming skills in C# / .NET
- Experience in:
- UI automation (web apps)
- API testing
- Expertise in test frameworks (NUnit / MSTest / xUnit)
- Strong understanding of:
- Automation design patterns (POM, BDD)
- Test data management
- Strong understanding of:
- Test lifecycle management
- Defect tracking and triage
- Experience in enterprise applications (like OTM / logistics domain is a plus)
- Focus on quality metrics and continuous improvement
Experience
- 3–6+ years in QA Automation
- Proven experience in framework design and implementation
