Job Duties and Responsibilities
ECHOSTAR is seeking an Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML and Generative AI (GenAI) systems across enterprise applications. This role focuses on building scalable, production-ready AI solutions for real-time analytics, intelligent automation, and decision support systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI/ML technologies into cloud-native infrastructure while maintaining high standards of performance, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement AI/ML systems and integrate with Generative AI technologies
  • Collaborate with the data science teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth transitions and knowledge continuity
  • Optimize AI/ML pipelines for real-time data handling, scalability, and develop APIs for seamless system communication
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitLab and leverage cloud-native technologies for scalable AI solutions
  • Conduct testing, benchmarking, and documentation to ensure AI/ML systems meet performance and functional requirements
  • Lead AI/ML initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to roadmaps, aligning solutions with project goals

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred)
  • 1-4 years of professional experience in AI/ML, GenAI, or a combination of software development and AI-driven solutions, with extensive expertise in integrating AI/ML into enterprise-scale applications
  • Strong track record of delivering scalable AI/ML systems

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in fine-tuning large language models
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML applications
  • Experience designing production-grade AI pipelines for real-time decision-making and predictive analytics
  • Proficient in cloud-based AI solutions using AWS services such as Athena, SageMaker, Lambda, EKS, and S3
  • Skilled in Python programming, data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Apache Spark), and API development for system integration
  • Knowledgeable in CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), version control (Git), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Agile development

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
