Job Description:

As part of the MCU SoC Design Group, the successful candidate will be responsible for Design / Integration of ARM based micro-controllers.

The candidate will interact regularly with cross-site teams to achieve the following goals  :

  • Perform Verilog / System Verilog RTL design to integrate modules at SoC level to build Microcontroller products
  • Design modules for microcontrollers products
  • Simulate at the module level and SoC level to guarantee design objective specification goals are met
  • Generate and maintain Micro architecture specification (MAS) at module and SoC level and other design flow documentation
  • Run and debug gate level simulations at SoC level
  • Develop functional test patterns to validate silicon on tester
  • Debug silicon products in support of Release to Production

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must hold a BE / B.Tech in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Must have clear and Intuitive understanding of electronic circuits - both digital and analog
  • Be a quick learner and be able to solve problems independently
  • Must have knowledge of programming concepts including Object Oriented programming concepts
  • Must know C and Verilog. Knowledge of C++ and System Verilog is a plus
  • Have scripting and automation knowledge  - Shell scripting, Perl, Tcl, Makefile are a plus
  • Strong analytical, and problem solving skills is a necessary requirement for this position
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimum support, excellent communication skills and an excellent team player
  • Masters in Electronics / VLSI is a plus.
