The Role: Automation & Control System Engineer
Automation & Control System Engineer will oversee all the automation communication with MES Camline/Ignition system and manage PLC/Robot/Vision programming. This is a high‑impact role where the candidate will drive innovation and shape the future of our automated operations by assisting automation lead. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in industrial automation, robotics, and electrical systems, with a passion for driving innovation and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
Assist automation team on deployment of new automation technologies and ensure seamless integration with existing production lines to several sites
Analyze technical documentation and system schematics to validate compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations
Enhance existing machinery with robotic and control upgrades to improve throughput and reduce downtime
Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to PLCs, HMIs, AOI system
Maintain and update software libraries for control systems and ensure proper documentation of changes
Assist in Ignition Gateway deployment for new and current automation
Assist in integration between PLC’s, robot software, vision software and motion control system drivers
Carry-out PLC programming for in-house automation projects
Good collaboration with other team members and departments
What We Seek:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Robotics Engineering
2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial automation environment
Proficiency in PLC programming (preferably Keyence/Omron)
Knowledge on HMI development, Vision and Robotic programing (6-axis robot/Scara/COBOT) will be an added advantage
To be analytical on investigation to bring new ideas on solving project issues
