Who you are:
As an Engineer II - Application Systems, you are responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting corporate applications across the organization. You’ll play an important role in evaluating and enhancing existing application systems processes, policies, and procedures. You’ll use your strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex application systems tickets and issues. You believe in effective communication and will have the opportunity to address potential problems and solutions to complex issues.
What you’ll do:
- Design, deploy, and optimize applications in Windows, Linux, cloud, and enterprise environments
- Customize and configure systems to meet business needs while adhering to security standards
- Resolve complex issues by diagnosing problems, implementing solutions, and documenting processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders and management on cross-functional projects and system implementations
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation
- Evaluate and improve application processes, policies, and procedures, and implement approved changes
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for application systems
- Mentor and support team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration
- Perform additional duties as assigned

What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify issues across interrelated programs and systems and develop the appropriate solutions, typically requiring a minimum of 2+ years of experience
- Proven ability to apply engineering principles to effectively resolve moderately complex technical issues within Infrastructure and Operations
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Infrastructure & Operations platform such as Microsoft or RHEL
- Relevant scripting or automation skills, such as PowerShell or VBScript
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications
