Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

What We’re Looking For:

A skilled professional with broad, hands-on experience across multiple building trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and locksmithing. Someone who can ensure that equipment, building systems, and shared spaces operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining smooth daily operations and creating a positive, well-functioning environment for both team members and guests.

What You Will Do:

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, trouble calls, and technical issues throughout the facility.

• Operate a company vehicle to transport parts and equipment between vendors, job sites, and service areas.

• Support the installation and upkeep of branded campus signage.

• Perform routine inspections of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to verify proper functionality and prevent failures.

• Complete minor equipment repairs and support event setup activities as needed.

• Handle hazardous materials in accordance with SDS requirements and established safety guidelines.

• Document completed work accurately and provide timely updates to supervisors.

• Maintain clean, organized, and well stocked workspaces and assist in shop inventory/par management.

• Attend required meetings and training sessions while adhering to uniform and grooming standards.

• Follow established emergency procedures in alignment with company protocols.

• Promote teamwork, support sustainability initiatives, and stay informed on operational updates.

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on building systems, machinery, and equipment to sustain optimal performance.

• Demonstrate the ability to perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including conducting readings and performing building rounds.

Your Experience Includes:

  • Three years of hands-on general maintenance experience, ideally in a hospitality or service-oriented environment.
  • Technical or vocational training in engineering, building maintenance, or a related field, preferred.
  • Basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing knowledge required.
  • Valid Florida Driver License preferred.
  • Ability to regularly push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally with team members, leaders and guests required.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Skills Required
