Job Description:
- Support and drive device yield and process parametric improvement work on Microchip products.
- Identify and implement root cause solutions to yield loss mechanisms through statistical data analysis and failure analysis techniques.
- Participate/Lead continuous improvement projects on products and processes for improved yield, cost, and quality by teaming with the product, test, design, and process engineering groups.
- Evaluate and monitor product test and process parametric data trends to identify issues requiring furtherinvestigation/resolution.
- Evaluate and disposition discrepant product held for yield enhancement engineering review
Requirements/Qualifications:
- BSEE degree or equivalent, with 0-3 years employment or internship experience in the semiconductor industry (hands-on product, test, design, or fabrication experience).
- Basic CMOS Semiconductor Process/Device knowledge
- Basic understanding of statistical data analysis, SPC, and Semiconductor testing Methods
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Be able to work effectively alone and in team environments as either a contributor or leader
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills
