Brief Job Description:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in power Electronics / Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience into software test automation in embedded system domains.
- To design & development of Test Automation framework for verification and Validation of embedded firmware.
- Strong programming skills using Python, minimum 2 years’ experience in Python. Should be worked on at least 1 automation project from end to end.
- HIL knowledge required using NI, Vector tools like VT System and CANoe. CAPL knowledge will be preferred.
- Testing experience with communication interface & protocols i.e. RS 485, Modbus, CAN Open, Ethernet and TCP/IP, I2C, SPI is required
- Strong debugging, Logical & Analytical skills.
- Experience in building the embedded systems hardware test setups, troubleshooting hardware. schematic reading and understanding.
- Hands on experience on software tools like Selenium, JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail.
- Prior experience on manual testing is preferred
- Experience into Power domain is preferred
- Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision
- Excellent Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:
He / She Will be involved in executing projects on Vertiv’s Multiple product lines like AC Power, Thermal and DC Power. Responsible for developing test cases, performing feasibility analysis for automating the test cases, develop & execute the automation scripts. Being part of Global Engineering function, will be responsible to execute the assigned job and report as per the defined communication plan.
