THE JOB:
The SHOW comes alive at MGM Resorts International. As an Engineer I, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our skilled traders to include electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry work. In your role, you will partner with other departments to create WOW memories our guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
- Work with a diverse team of enthusiastic people in a FUN and fast-paced environment to achieve company goals
- Perform routine and complex maintenance and repair work on all mechanical and electrical equipment and building systems.
- Maintain the appearance and safety of both the interior and exterior of our property
- Advise management of any unusual conditions and perform all assigned duties during emergency situations
- Ensure guest safety by following proper maintenance and prevention procedures
- Engage with guests and employees by smiling and hearing their story
THE STARTING PAY: $25.40
A GREAT CANDIDATE:
- Has high energy and positive attitude
- One or more years of experience in building maintenance at a casino, hotel, resort, apartment, or condominium style property
- Has strong communication skills
- Has high attention to detail
- Has strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Can handle multiple tasks at one time
