Brief Job Description: -
Electronics Hardware Engineer:
- An Electronics Hardware Engineer designs, develops, and tests physical electronic components, circuit boards, and systems.
- They create electrical schematics, coordinate PCB layouts, and conduct rigorous prototyping, validation, and debugging to ensure the hardware meets performance, safety, and manufacturing specifications.
Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:

- Circuit Design & Prototyping: Create schematics and design analog, digital, RF, or power supply circuits using tools like Mentor Graphics Designer.
- PCB Layout & Fabrication: Manage and coordinate multi-layer PCB layout, component placement, routing, and Gerber file generation for manufacturing.
- Testing & Debugging: Use diagnostic equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) to conduct hardware bring-up, signal integrity testing, and root-cause defect analysis.
- System Integration: Collaborate with embedded software/firmware engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare design documents, BOM (Bill of Materials) lists, test reports, and ensure compliance with industry safety and regulatory standards (e.g., EMC, UL, IEC).
- Simulation: LT spice, TINA required to know. MATLB & Ansys will be additional.
- Hardware Knowledge: Deep understanding of microcontrollers, processors, FPGAs, power electronics, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet).
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills for debugging, failure analysis, and design optimization
Qualifications:
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 5 years’ experience in directly related to mission critical facilities of which at least 3 in data center and telecom
- English language min. B1 level
- Advanced computer skills
- Manages multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. Demonstrates ability to plan, set priorities, organizes and coordinates work with others
- Effectively communicates technical information and complex ideas
- Is persuasive, demonstrates diplomacy and tact
- Demonstrates professionalism (e.g., cooperation, courtesy, assertiveness, and non-defensiveness, accepting constructive criticism, and maintaining confidences)
- Demonstrates good customer relation skills by providing prompt personalized service
- Effectively handles stressful situations (resolving conflicts and meeting deadlines)
- Experience managing an engineering team preferred

Skills Required

- Experience with LTspice

- PCB layout and Gerber generation for multi-layer PCBs
- Testing and debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers
- Deep understanding of microcontrollers, processors, FPGAs, and power electronics
- Knowledge of communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet
- Experience in mission-critical facilities; at least 5 years' related experience with 3 years in data center and telecom
- MATLAB experience
- Ansys experience
- English language minimum B1 level
- Advanced computer skills and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks
- Experience managing an engineering team
- Experience preparing BOMs, test reports, and ensuring compliance with EMC/UL/IEC standards
