About the team
HashiCorp Cloud Platform (HCP) is a self-service, fully managed platform that offers HashiCorp products as a service to automate infrastructure across any cloud using the latest best practices. The HCP Identity & Access Management (IAM) engineering teams are responsible for building user-friendly, secure, scalable solutions that help with efficient management of identities and access control within the cloud platform.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Help build user-friendly, high-quality user interfaces to support Identity and Access Management (IAM) features on the HCP portal.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other teams to help design smooth and efficient UI flows.
- Learn and contribute to evolving our frontend tools and processes to improve the development experience.
- Work in a product-focused team where you’ll learn to think big, deliver small, measure progress, and iterate quickly.
- Gain knowledge about our products like Terraform, Vault, and Consul.
- Join a distributed team with colleagues in North America and Europe.
What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
- 1-2 years of relevant experience or a degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
- Basic understanding of modern browser-based development (JavaScript/ES7, HTML, CSS).
- Familiarity with JavaScript tools like Webpack, React, Angular, or Ember is a plus.
- Interest in web accessibility guidelines and assistive technologies.
- Eagerness to work in a dynamic, team-based environment.
- A passion for learning, growing, and exploring new ideas.
- Willingness to embrace our core principles and culture.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts or experience with IAM systems.
