Job Responsibilities
- Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure works are carried out according to contract requirements, quality standards, and cost controls.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to electrical safety regulations.
- Support the daily operations of facility electrical systems, ensuring reliable performance and optimal energy usage.
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment and systems.
- Monitor electrical equipment performance, identify faults, and escalate critical issues to the Facility Manager with appropriate technical reports.
- Respond to facility electrical issues and support emergency breakdown situations when required.
- Prepare and submit operational and technical reports, including maintenance and PPM summaries.
- Assist in coordinating internal meetings, preparing reports, and supporting operational documentation.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
- Assist in procurement processes including purchase requisitions, and verify utility consumption records where required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or electrical operations.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and building services operations.
- Familiar with preventive maintenance planning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Knowledge of energy management practices and green building initiatives such as Green Building Index (GBI) is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using maintenance management systems or ERP systems such as Oracle is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with contractors and internal teams.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Remark: The contract is for 2-year and is renewable subject to management approval.
