As a Design Engineer in the NVE Design Engineering group at Micron Semiconductor Italia, you will contribute to the development of memory products that are best-in-class, using your specialized knowledge and Micron proprietary methods of designing and analyzing analog and mixed-signal circuits used in the development of memory products. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:• Contribute to the development of new NAND Flash memory products by supporting overall design, layout, and optimization of memory, logic, and analog circuits.• Design, simulate, and optimize NAND circuit blocks, balancing performance, power, area, and reliability trade-offs.• Perform comprehensive circuit simulation and verification (DC, AC, transient, noise, Monte Carlo, PVT corners) including parasitic-aware validation.• Collaborate with Modeling, Probe, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering to ensure manufacturability, quality, reliability, and cost targets are met.• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in dynamic, multi-functional environments.
Min Qualifications• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.• some experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, FastSPICE, or equivalent).• problem-solving, and communication skills in multi-functional environments.
Preferred Qualifications• Experience in NAND Flash, ROM SRAM or other memory technologies.• Familiarity with design automation , scripting (e.g., Python), or AI-assisted design approaches.• Understanding of layout constraints and interaction with physical design flows.
The base salary range that Micron estimates it could pay in for this position full-time is:
34.000,00 € - 57.000,00 € per year, with B2 CCNL Level.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
