About This Opportunity
We are seeking a talented CS CORE Performance Engineer at the Engineer/Senior Engineer level to join our performance optimization team in Noida, India. Reporting to the Performance Manager, you will play a critical role in driving performance improvements within our managed services operations, particularly in telecom core network environments. This position requires a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge telecom infrastructure.
What You Will Do• Execute performance improvement initiatives and delivery activities within well-defined system support guidelines and processes (MSTOP)• Design, configure, and troubleshoot core network elements from leading vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei) including MSC, GMSC, MGW, DRA, SBC, and RAN nodes• Analyze and optimize critical performance KPIs such as PSR, SCR, LUSR, CSFB, SRVCC, SMS MT/MO, ASR, TAU, and capacity metrics• Evaluate capacity requirements and provide recommendations for network optimization• Support VoLTE/IMS and VoWiFi configurations on MSS nodes• Lead technical discussions focused on performance enhancement and provide actionable recommendations• Ensure adherence to correct work methodologies to prevent network outages• Collaborate with NPI, project, and circle planning teams to align performance objectives
The Skills You Bring• 4-8+ years of hands-on experience in telecom core networks, particularly 2G/VoWiFi domains• Proven expertise with core nodes and protocols (GSM, WCDMA, LTE, VoWiFi)• In-depth knowledge of at least 2 major vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei• Strong understanding of GSM/LTE fundamentals and 3GPP standards• Expertise in SS7, IP signaling, SIP, Diameter, TCP/UDP protocols, and SIGTRAN• Proficiency in call flow analysis and core network interface knowledge• Advanced capability in performance KPI analysis and service awareness• ICR configuration and troubleshooting experience
