• Software Development Engineer (ERP) – Engineer 3 

   

  Job Summary 

  We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Software Development Engineer (Level 3) to support our Oracle Fusion ERP initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ERP systems—particularly Oracle Fusion—in both and technical aspects. The consultant will act as an SME and work with team on various test phase cycles and provide support as and when necessary. You will collaborate with QA, development, and business analyst teams to ensure quality and delivery of enterprise-grade ERP solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM). Knowledge of the Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) module is an added advantage. 

   

  Key Responsibilities 

  ERP knowledge & Technical Validation 

  • Work across Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud modules in Finance and SCM. 

  • Support post-implementation activities and resolve production issues. 

  • Data setup such as chart of accounts, ledgers, tax rules, approval workflows etc 

  • Assist in upgrades, patches and new feature rollouts 

  • Create, review, and execute functional and regression test cases for ERP workflows and customizations. 

  • Use SQL/PL-SQL for backend data validation and troubleshooting. 

  • Validate or support reports developed with BI Publisher, OTBI, or similar tools. 

  • Understand and test ERP extensions including Fast Formulas, Personalization’s, and Integrations. 

  • Document test cases, technical procedures, and system behaviors. 

  • Support exploratory testing and identify functional gaps or inconsistencies. 

  API & Integration Testing 

  • Knowledge of REST API integrations and testing using Postman, REST-assured, or equivalent tools preferred. 

  • Work with integration developers to troubleshoot and validate ERP data exchanges. 

  • Support performance and security validation of APIs and connected systems. 

  • Reporting Tools: Familiarity with BI Publisher, OTBI, or FRS. 

  • Integration Knowledge: Understanding of APIs, web services, and middleware (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud). 

  Team Collaboration & Agile Delivery 

  • Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to define test plans and deliverables. 

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives). 

  • Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and retesting. 

  • Mentor junior QA team members and support peer reviews of test cases or automation code. 

   

  Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • 4–6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with 3+ years in Oracle Fusion ERP QA. 

  • Experience in both manual and automated testing of ERP applications. 

  • Strong understanding of ERP processes, SDLC, Agile methodologies 

  • Familiarity with API testing and backend validation techniques.
