Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models across diverse business use cases. This role provides hands-on exposure to classical ML, deep learning, and emerging Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate has strong Python skills, a solid understanding of ML fundamentals, and a passion for solving real-world problems through data-driven solutions.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Own the end to end lifecycle of machine learning solutions, from problem formulation and data exploration to model deployment and monitoring.
- Design, build, and optimize advanced ML models for classification and regression problems.
- Develop and maintain time series and forecasting models to analyze temporal patterns and predict future business outcomes.
- Lead feature engineering strategy, including feature selection, transformations, and handling data quality and drift.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and translate insights business recommendations.
- Build scalable, reusable ML pipelines for training, validation, inference, and monitoring using industry best practices.
- Work with Databricks or similar IDEs to develop efficient, production-ready pipelines.
- Use PySpark and SQL for large-scale data processing and performance optimization.
- Use GitHub effectively, for repository management, code reviews, and issue tracking.
- Understand existing projects, pipelines, and end goals and enhance current packages & frameworks as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across data pipelines, model execution, and production workflows and ensure reliability and performance.
- Monitor model performance & data drift; recommend retraining or feature updates as needed.
- Communicate technical concepts, trade-offs, and results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor and review work of junior data scientists and ML engineers, providing guidance on modelling approaches and code quality.
- Contribute to defining ML standards, best practices, and governance within the team.
