Job Summary
Job Profile Summary Engineer 2, IS Solutions Tech & Automation focused on solving business process and automation challenges through low-code/no-code development and scripting. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions, developing automation applications, and supporting the delivery of technology solutions that improve operational efficiency. You will build and support automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Python, APIs, and internal tools. Working closely with business stakeholders and senior engineers, you will contribute to solution design, application development, system integrations, testing, documentation, and ongoing support while following established development and SDLC standards.

Core Responsibilities
- Translates business requirements and solution designs into technical specifications and functional applications.
- Develops, tests, and supports Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Python-based automations, and related technology solutions.
- Collaborates with stakeholders and team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Integrates APIs, data sources, and enterprise systems to support automation and reporting solutions.
- Participates in solution design discussions and contributes technical recommendations.
- Performs unit testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for developed applications and automations.
- Supports SDLC processes including documentation, testing, deployment, and change management activities.
- Assists with application maintenance, vulnerability remediation, patching activities, and operational support.
- Creates and maintains technical documentation, support materials, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborates with senior engineers and technology leaders to deliver solutions aligned with architectural and security standards.
- Estimates development effort for assigned work and provides status updates on project deliverables.
- Stays current on Microsoft Power Platform, Python, and emerging automation technologies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
