Job Summary
This job entails writing and maintaining clean, efficient code for various software components while following development best practices. It supports the design and innovation of new applications that align with business goals. It involves implementing testing frameworks to validate software, documenting development processes for knowledge transfer, and analyzing integration needs. Responsibilities also include collaborating with Quality Assurance to meet technical standards, and troubleshooting to improve performance and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Must have skills

• Performance & scalability design,
• Strong SQL/PLSQL, query writing, and hands-on with Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL
• Analyze execution plans, optimize queries, monitor DB health
• Security architecture (secrets management with Vault),
• Design patterns (Repository, Service, existing codebase patterns)
• SonarQube (code quality, resolving code smells & vulnerabilities)
• AI-assisted development - GitHub Copilot, prompt engineering for code generation
• Java enterprise architecture (Spring ecosystem, WAR-based deployments),
• REST API design,
• Angular + TypeScript, Jest, ReactJS, Redux
• HTML / CSS / SCSS
• Multi-module Maven project architecture,
• Oracle DB schema design & optimization,
• Authentication/Authorization architecture (Spring Security, OAuth2/SSO),
• Integration patterns (REST, WebSocket/STOMP, SFTP, scheduled jobs),
• Deployment architecture (Tomcat, Apache),

Good to have skills:

• Spec-driven architecture
• Building custom AI agents / RAG pipelines
• Monitoring & observability (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Security scanning (Snyk)

• Writing and maintaining efficient code for software components, adhering to best practices in development
• Supporting the design and development of new software applications aligned with business objectives
• Implementing testing frameworks for software validation, including unit and integration tests, to ensure quality
• Documenting the software development process, including design and deployment procedures, to facilitate knowledge sharing
• Analyzing software integration needs and planning system architecture to meet technical specifications
• Reviewing current practices and technical literature to inform project solutions and applying engineering methodologies
• Working with Quality Assurance to ensure applications meet technical requirements and fit specifications
• Troubleshooting software issues, providing resolutions to enhance application performance and user satisfaction
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
