Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated person for a role of Cybersecurity Engineer II to join our growing cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto UTM firewalls, F5 VPNs, and a strong understanding of network security principles and threat mitigation strategies. You will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting advanced security appliances to ensure the integrity and availability of the network and security infrastructure.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and monitor Fortinet UTM policies
- Manage Palo Alto UTM, including security policies, and threat prevention
- Hands on Experience on FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and FortiSandbox
- Administer and troubleshoot F5 VPN solutions (APM & AFM preferred)
- Perform routine security audits, rule base reviews, and vulnerability remediations
- Implement policies and rule changes following change management procedures
- Work with cross-functional teams to deploy security solutions for new projects

Education
Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
Relevant Work Experience
2-5 Years
Skills Required
- 2-5 years relevant cybersecurity or network security experience
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet UTM firewalls and Fortinet tools (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSandbox)
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto UTM firewalls and threat prevention
- Experience administering and troubleshooting F5 VPN solutions
- F5 APM and AFM experience
- Strong understanding of network security principles and threat mitigation strategies
- Perform routine security audits, rule base reviews, and vulnerability remediations
- Ability to implement policies and rule changes following change management procedures
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience
