SUMMARY

Responsible to build and strengthen relationships between North Florida Medical and the community by managing outreach, organizing events, and fostering communication.  Responsible to develop strategies to boost participation, act as a liaison, and handle marketing and media to enhance North Florida Medical visibility.  Responsible for patient and employee recruitment and engagement activities.


SCHEDULE/HOURS:

  • This is NOT a remote position.  Work is performed at the corporate office.
  • Full Time
  • Monday-Friday
  • Usually 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. , but extended hours may be needed on some occasions.
  • Rarely weekends, but may be needed on occasion.  
  • Rare overnight travel.
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution with a degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or Public Relations, or a related field.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  
  • At least three years of public relations experience. 
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and public speaking skills.
  • Good judgment, creativity, and an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective personal relationships.
  • Photography skills preferred.
