As an Engagement Associate (Express), you’ll sit at the heart of our commercial, product, and operational decision-making. You’ll help shape how our services are structured, priced, and delivered across categories such as gardening, handyman, electrical, plumbing, and more.

You’ll spend time deeply understanding both sides of the marketplace including speaking with customers to understand their needs and pain points, working directly with tradespeople to understand how they operate and translating insights into smarter pricing, improved service design, and better user experiences.

You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Operations, and leadership teams to turn ideas into live improvements that directly impact growth and customer experience.

No two days are the same. We move quickly, solve problems collaboratively, and expect everyone to roll up their sleeves and contribute wherever needed.

Forget long lists, here’s what you’ll actually spend your time on:

  • Supporting category development across multiple home service verticals

  • Conducting customer and tradesperson research to uncover insights and opportunities

  • Helping build pricing frameworks and service structures

  • Supporting product and UX recommendations based on marketplace feedback

  • Analysing trends, identifying gaps, and helping improve marketplace performance

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with product, operations, and commercial teams

  • Contributing to strategic projects within a fast-scaling startup environment

It’s not about ticking every box. It’s about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You’ll do well here if you bring:

  • Someone early in their career with high potential, strong curiosity, and the ambition to grow quickly.

  • Either a recent graduate or someone with early professional experience in consulting, tech, startups, operations, strategy, or commercial environments.

  • Critical thinking and enjoy solving complex problems

  • Naturally curious and proactive

  • Communicates confidently with a wide range of people

  • Can spot patterns, challenge assumptions, and focus on what matters

  • Is organised, adaptable, and comfortable operating in ambiguity

  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments

We believe great work deserves great rewards. Here’s just a taste:

  • Competitive salary + bonus

  • Employee Share Program

  • Health, well-being and learning support

  • Gym membership, Smart Tech Scheme and Cycle Scheme

  • Birthday/Special day leave

  • Buy & sell holiday scheme

  • 1 week’s paid charity leave and much more!

How we’ll get to know each other:

  • Screening call with one of our Talent Acquisition Partners

  • 1st stage interview with the hiring manager

  • 2nd stage interview with a member of the Express team

  • 3rd stage interview with the hiring manager and VP of Labs, inclusive of a case study

If this sounds like the place where you can do your best work, we’d love to hear from you, even if you don’t tick every box
