About the Role: We are looking for self-driven, well-organized, inquisitive individuals with a passion for shipping, technology and strong analytical skills to join our team in Athens for a graduate program of 6 months, with the possibility to extend for 18 more months (24 total). A successful graduate program can lead to a permanent position. Primary duties will be focused on Vessel Energy Performance data analysis and modeling, shipping operations and strategic projects, candidates need to be exceptionally courteous, positive, engaging, detail-oriented.

What you will do in this role

• Participate and assist in data quality operations
• Analyze data and extract insights related to vessels energy performance and emissions kpis
• Support the Operations teams, helping them deliver great results
• Contribute to strategic projects related to the growth of our Energy performance offering 
• Develop the skills required to grow into operational, commercial and analytical positions

 What you bring to the team

• An engineering, mathematics, statistics (BSc or MSc) background from a top School
• Passion for shipping and technology
• Good knowledge of analytical and presentation tools is welcome (e.g., MS excel, MS powerpoint, google sheets, google slides)
• Programming experience in Python and SQL
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Proactiveness, ability to make quick decisions with attention to detail
• Team spirit; caring about the business and appreciating collaboration with colleagues
• Ability to adapt and perform in diversified projects and tight timelines with the guidance of senior team members
• Business understanding and problem-solving capabilities with strong analytical thinking. Able to analyze problems end-to-end and propose solutions with the guidance of senior team members
• Relevant experience in shipping is welcomed but not a prerequisite       
• Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI is welcome but not a prerequisite
