Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?
Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Uniquely Yours.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OT Cybersecurity Engineer Lead to join our security team. In this role, you will serve as the primary OT cybersecurity subject matter expert within Security Operations (SecOps), advising and supporting the broader OT Security teams and plant operations stakeholders to ensure strong protection of our manufacturing environments. You will work closely with engineering groups responsible for implementing OT controls while helping shape enhancements, improve monitoring maturity, and strengthen incident handling. You will also help advance OT threat detection capabilities and ensure SecOps has the tooling, context, and visibility needed to protect OT environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across OT cybersecurity domains, strong familiarity with the Purdue Model, and the ability to translate OT risks and threats into actionable guidance and improvements.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
- Advising SecOps analysts, engineers, incident responders, and threat hunters on OT cyber risks, security controls, and best practices.
- Acting as the central liaison between SecOps and the OT Security teams to ensure alignment and coordinated improvements.
- Partnering with OT Security teams on the evolution of OT identity, network, endpoint, and monitoring controls.
- Providing authoritative guidance on the Purdue Model and how protections should be layered across OT environments.
- Supporting the development, tuning, and validation of OT detection content and OT monitoring strategies.
- Helping to enhance OT alert fidelity, OT logging coverage, and OT threat visibility.
- Contributing SME input into response processes for OT cybersecurity incidents.
- Supporting SecOps in understanding industrial threats, vulnerabilities, and operational technology risks.
- Collaborating with threat intelligence and threat hunt to interpret OT threat activity and convert findings into improvements.
- Contributing to OT cybersecurity standards, guidance, and operational best practices.
- Remaining current with OT security practices, industrial threats, and emerging technologies.
- Helping identify opportunities to mature controls, enhance detection coverage, and strengthen remediation processes-not as an owner, but as a strategic advisor and SME partner.
More about this role
This position requires strong technical depth, collaboration abilities, and the desire to influence and support teams delivering OT security improvements. If you are passionate about OT cybersecurity, partnering across organizations, and elevating industrial protections through strategic advisory work, we want to hear from you.

- Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, GICSP, GRID, GCIP, GCIA, GCFA) are a plus.

- Deep understanding of OT security principles, the Purdue Model, and industrial security control frameworks.

- Strong familiarity with SIEM platforms and OT logging/telemetry sources.
- Experience tuning and validating OT detections and monitoring capabilities.
