Endpoint Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Engineer for a temporary assignment 6months) supporting one of our clients. In this role, you will help optimize and enhance their end user computing environment. The ideal candidate brings 5–10 years of experience in end user engineering, with strong expertise in Windows 10/11 and modern endpoint management tools.

Core Responsibilities:
•    Design, configure, and manage Windows 10 and 11 workstations.
•    Deploy and manage endpoints using Microsoft Intune and Tanium (patching and software updates).
•    Implement Autopilot (zero touch deployment) for streamlined device provisioning.
•    Configure and optimize Windows 11 Shared Workstations for training rooms, conference spaces, and front desk PCs.
•    Manage Kiosk Mode vs. Shared Workstation configurations and apply appropriate security and usage policies.
•    Reduce disk bloat by managing inactive profiles and implementing auto cleanup routines.
•    Ensure optimal shared workstation performance, including guest support and auto logoff for idle users.
•    Lock down shared workstations as needed to maintain security and compliance standards.

Qualifications:
•    5–10 years of experience in endpoint or end user engineering roles.
•    Deep knowledge of Windows 10/11, including deployment, configuration, and optimization.
•    Hands on experience with Intune, Tanium, and Autopilot.
•    Strong understanding of Windows Shared Workstation and Kiosk Mode implementations.
•    Proven ability to design secure, efficient, and user-friendly endpoint environments.
•    Excellent troubleshooting and problems-solving skills.

Certifications:
•    Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) requirement as a minimum or equivalent.
