About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Associate / Technical Lead – Quality Assurance to lead our QA function and drive the quality of web-based applications across the complete software development lifecycle.The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with strong expertise in test automation, web application testing, API testing, React-based applications, and microservices. The candidate should have proven experience in leading QA initiatives, building automation frameworks, mentoring QA engineers, and collaborating closely with development and product teams.This role requires a strong combination of technical QA expertise, leadership skills, and a quality-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team to ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable applications.Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, processes, standards, and best practices across the product lifecycle.
Own QA activities from requirement analysis through release and production validation.
Collaborate closely with React developers, .NET backend developers, architects, product managers, and other stakeholders to define quality expectations and acceptance criteria.Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Create and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases covering functional, regression, integration, UI, API, and cross-browser testing.
Lead testing of React-based web applications using tools such as Cypress, Jest, Enzyme, or equivalent frameworks.Perform comprehensive REST API and microservices testing using tools such as Postman and other API testing frameworks.
Ensure effective integration testing between frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and microservices.Identify, track, prioritize, and resolve defects in collaboration with development teams.
Monitor test execution and quality metrics and provide regular QA status, risk, and release-readiness reports.Participate in production issue investigation, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, automation coverage, test efficiency, and overall product quality.Evaluate and introduce new QA tools, frameworks, and methodologies where appropriate.
Mentor team members on automation, testing methodologies, coding standards, and best practices.Ensure appropriate test coverage and maintain the overall integrity of the customer/user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–12 years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Senior QA / QA Lead / Test Lead / Technical Lead role.
• Strong experience in web application testing.
• Hands-on expertise in test automation and automation framework development/maintenance.
• Strong proficiency in Selenium or equivalent web automation frameworks.
• Experience testing React / ReactJS applications.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress, Jest, Enzyme, Playwright, or similar frontend testing frameworks.
• Strong experience in REST API testing and API automation.
• Hands-on experience with Postman or equivalent API testing tools.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and integration testing.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test case design, defect management, regression testing, and functional testing.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and guide QA engineers.
  Good to Have
  • Experience testing applications with .NET / C# backend services.
  • Exposure to performance/load testing tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Experience with SQL/database testing.
  • Experience with cloud-based applications and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of quality metrics, test coverage, and QA reporting.
    Education
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
