Job Description:

As Employer Brand Lead, you will bring King’s culture, people and games to life for current and future talent. You will lead high-impact employer brand programmes that strengthen King’s reputation as an employer of choice, connecting talent-attraction priorities with compelling stories, content and candidate experiences.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative opportunity to shape how King appears across candidate-facing channels. You will partner with Talent Acquisition, Communications, HR, Events and studio teams to develop creative, insight-led initiatives that engage priority talent audiences.

While primarily focused on King, the role may also support select initiatives across Activision and Blizzard as business priorities and team needs arise.

About the Team

The Employer Brand team helps people understand what it is like to build games at King. We combine talent insight, storytelling, content and candidate experience to connect talent with King and our mission of Making the World Playful.

Working closely with Talent Acquisition and partners across the business, we bring our employer brand to life across our careers site, social channels, early careers programs, recruitment campaigns and events. Together, these experiences help talent discover King, understand our culture and explore opportunities to build their careers with us.

Your Role Within the Kingdom

You’ll lead employer brand activity that connects King’s hiring priorities with the talent we want to reach. Working across teams and channels, you’ll combine strategic partnership with hands-on creative delivery, shaping how candidates discover and experience King.

Stakeholder Partnership & Strategy
  • Serve as King’s primary partner for employer brand initiatives across Talent Acquisition, Communications, HR, Events and business teams, collaborating with Activision and Blizzard partners as needed.
  • Build trusted relationships and act as a strategic advisor on talent-attraction priorities, aligning stakeholders around shared goals and successful outcomes.
  • Translate business objectives and hiring needs into programmes, campaigns and content strategies.
  • Represent Employer Brand in planning discussions and cross-functional initiatives, managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining alignment with business goals.
Content Strategy & Activation
  • Develop and execute content strategies that support hiring priorities, owning content planning and activation across LinkedIn, King’s careers site, Life at King and other candidate-facing channels.
  • Create high-quality written, visual and multimedia content, including employee stories, social campaigns, photography and video.
  • Turn employee, leader and studio stories into compelling content through strong writing, creative direction and visual storytelling, independently creating and editing content using relevant design and content-creation tools to a high creative standard.
Candidate Experience & Talent Attraction
  • Enhance candidate experiences across King’s careers site and broader talent ecosystem, partnering with recruiters, hiring teams and business leaders to translate hiring needs into attraction strategies and campaigns.
  • Improve the visibility, accessibility and discoverability of content through audience insights and cross-business-unit best practices.
  • Lead awareness strategy and execution for King’s internship programmes, strengthening King’s reputation among STEM students, graduates and gaming communities across Europe.
  • Support recruiting events and targeted attraction campaigns across King and, where needed, broader Activision Blizzard priorities.
Measurement & Insights
  • Monitor and report on performance, including engagement, audience growth, reach, sentiment and talent-discovery metrics.
  • Present data-driven insights, success measures and recommendations to business leaders to optimise strategy, content performance and attraction outcomes.
  • Establish benchmarks and performance measures that inform future growth and investment decisions.

Skills to Create Thrills

You’ll bring a strong mix of employer brand expertise, creative capability and stakeholder influence, with the confidence to move between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.

Experience
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing employer branding, recruitment marketing, and talent attraction strategies, campaigns, and content.
  • Experience working in gaming, technology, entertainment or another fast-paced, creative industry.
  • Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and changing business needs.
  • Demonstrated experience producing communications, marketing, editorial, or talent brand content, supported by a portfolio showcasing both strategic thinking and creative execution across written, visual, and multimedia formats.

Knowledge & Skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and levels and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with experience creating content across social, web, campaign, editorial, and executive-facing formats.
  • Experience creating, directing, capturing, or editing photo and video content for digital audiences. Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, employer review platforms, career site content management, and recruitment marketing best practices.
  • Ability to use performance data to define success measures, assess campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements to content, candidate engagement and talent-attraction outcomes.

Key Attributes
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • A collaborative and influential partner who can work effectively across functions and levels.
  • Passion for games, storytelling, culture-building, and talent attraction.

Please note that relocation support is not available for this role. While we welcome applications from a broad range of candidates, we expect to prioritize individuals who are already based in the London area.
