The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining positive relationships between EAS and its employees.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints.
- Addresses routine labor relations inquiries related to policies, procedures, and concerns. Refers complex matters to appropriate management staff or Human Resources.
- Spreads awareness of upcoming events, learning opportunities and other company and employment requirements such as open enrollment.
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to EEO, affirmative action, and human resources.
- Spends the majority of the workday in front of employees.
