A large share of our team is early in their careers. As the Employee Relations Lead for our Noida engineering center, you will be a trusted partner to roughly 1,200 early-career engineers, helping build a positive, high-performing work environment. You will align employee aspirations with organizational goals—addressing concerns early, strengthening engagement, and improving retention. Combining empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and sound judgment, you will help our engineers grow and do their best work in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities
Grievance Redressal & Conflict Management
- Proactive Mediation: Act as the first point of contact for early-career engineers, resolving interpersonal conflicts and team-dynamics issues before they escalate.
- Expectation Realignment: Counsel early-career professionals on professional boundaries, workplace etiquette, and adjusting to a fast-paced software environment.
- Objective Investigation: Conduct fair, timely investigations into workplace grievances in line with company policy.
- POSH & Internal Committee Support: Support the Internal Committee under the POSH Act—handling complaints sensitively and confidentially, coordinating inquiries, and ensuring timely, compliant resolution along with regular awareness sessions.
- Disciplinary Action & Due Process: Manage misconduct cases end to end—including show-cause notices, warnings, and separations—ensuring a fair process and accurate documentation.
Performance Management Support & Counseling
- Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs): Partner with delivery managers to run Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), keeping the process constructive and well-documented.
- Empathetic Counseling: Support engineers facing performance challenges with practical counseling and clear paths to improve.
- Manager Coaching: Coach technical leads and engineering managers on giving constructive feedback and handling sensitive conversations without harming morale.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Early-Career Engagement: Design and run engagement initiatives suited to an early-career workforce, building a sense of belonging and a collaborative culture.
- Listening & Feedback Channels: Run open channels—town halls, focus groups, and regular feedback loops—to stay close to employee sentiment.
- Recognition Frameworks: Champion recognition programs that resonate with early-career talent, linking individual milestones to company goals.
- Onboarding & Early-Tenure Integration: Partner with talent and delivery teams on a smooth first-90-days experience—buddy and mentor pairing, structured check-ins, and early-warning signals to lift early-career retention.
- Wellbeing & Mental Health Support: Promote wellbeing resources and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), run awareness initiatives, and offer a confidential first point of contact for engineers under stress.
Policy Compliance & HR Analytics
- Trend Analysis: Track employee-relations metrics, turnover trends, and exit-interview data to find the root causes of early-career attrition.
- Data-Driven Strategy: Share insights and recommendations with leadership to improve workplace policies and intervention strategies.
- Policy Communication: Ensure company policies are clearly communicated and understood across a large headcount, emphasizing alignment over policing.
- Statutory & Labour Compliance: Keep employee-relations practices aligned with applicable labour laws (e.g., Shops & Establishments Act, code of conduct), maintain audit-ready ER records, and support internal and client compliance reviews.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: MBA in Human Resources, Master’s in Human Resource Management (MHRM), or an equivalent post-graduate degree in a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of core HR experience, with at least 3 years focused on Employee Relations or HR business partnering within an IT, ITES, or fast-paced engineering environment.
- Scale Capability: Proven track record supporting large employee populations (1,000+), ideally early-career or tech-academy graduates.
- Key Soft Skills:
- Strong active listening and conflict de-escalation skills.
- A balance of genuine empathy for early-career professionals with firm, objective judgment.
- Clear verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain policies and write sensitive documentation accurately.

This is an in-office role at our Noida campus. The work requires close collaboration and quick turnarounds, so candidates based in Noida or Greater Noida—or within a comfortable daily commute—are best suited.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, in-office role based at our Noida campus and follows a 6-day work week (Monday to Saturday). The role requires regular on-site presence to effectively support employees, manage workplace concerns, and collaborate closely with business and engineering leaders.
