Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Navigator Project Manager to join our growing team in a fully remote position.
The Employee Navigator Project Manager will be responsible for key operational aspects for the national Employee Benefits Technology team (EBTech) team. A key area of focus for the AIC will be working with the configuration and/or customer success teams (implementation architects), typically on low to moderate complexity customers. This includes mentoring of less experienced teammates to guide them in continuous process improvement and meeting quality expectations and production deadlines. In addition, the AIC will play a key role in EBTech benefits administration software platform implementations across projects, working with managers and implementation teams to ensure deliver of high quality and timely outcomes. You will use your system development knowledge, health and welfare expertise and project management experience in implementing and supporting customers and expanding current customer relationships. The AIC may be placed in primarily an implementation or customer support (post-implementation) role, and may move between the two, as needed by the business. You will have the opportunity to grow your supervisory, project management, consulting, customer management, leadership, health and welfare knowledge, and business acumen. As an AIC you are responsible for ensuring that tasks are completed with high quality and timeliness.
How You Will Contribute:
Demonstrates Intermediate knowledge of benefits administration software implementation, leveraging expertise and experience to drive EBTech programs.
Drive exceptional, consistent implementation experience and project quality for concurrent projects.
Translate business needs into comprehensive project plans including objectives, timeline, deliverables, budget and quality standards for the entire life cycle of the project.
Serve as the principal project lead, for low to moderate complexity customers, ensuring the progress of implementations against established goals.
Serve as the supervisor/mentor to teammates, building their skills as they grow into increasing roles of responsibility.
Coordinate with team leaders to secure needed resources based on availability and talent needed.
Communicate closely with account teams and customer contacts throughout the implementation so that all parties understand tasks, deadlines and items that put timelines at risk if delays occur.
Raise appropriate issues to Implementation Consultant, leadership and/or Director of Operations to ensure customer expectations are met.
Drive results with all parties (EBTech/account team/customer/carriers) on low to moderate complexity engagements
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer contacts through efficient, quality execution of projects, effective communication, and value-added consulting advice.
Train customers on use of new tools and approaches.
Apply sound judgement to the execution of business processes, protocols and quality standards in the development and deployment of solutions, in low and moderate complex situations.
Represent EBTech in a professional manner in every interaction with outside parties.
Meet regularly with project manager to ensure projects are on track and develop project manager skills.
Provide customers continuous feedback on implementation status for both new sites and renewals.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all individual and assigned team tasks.
Utilize project management tools (such as Smartsheet) to manage implementations.
Continually provide review and feedback to team members.
Participate in sales calls as needed to help sell new projects, as requested.
Skills and Experience to be Successful
Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent comparable experience.
3-5 years of applicable professional experience, with 3-5 years of applicable software industry experience
Intermediate understanding of employee benefits programs and implementation requirements.
Intermediate knowledge of benefits administration software implementation, ideally obtained through a service provider or mid to large market reseller
Proficient with MS Office Suite.
Exceptional/professional presentation skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Pay Range
$62,000 - $73,000 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
