The PositionPosition Summary
The Employee Lifecycle Management (ELM) team focuses on providing operational HR support and provide customer service and advisory support to managers, employees, the People & Culture team, and business partners on global HR systems and processes. The ELM team is also responsible for ensuring end-to-end HR process completion in line with customer focused principles (Roche People Practices) when supporting the business.
As the Employee Lifecycle Management Subject Matter Expert, you will play a pivotal role in managing global and regional HR projects aimed at enhancing customer experience, building knowledge, and ensuring standardization of operational HR processes for automation readiness. You will also be the internal escalation point for the ELM Specialists and Senior Specialists on complex HR requests that require alignment with global/regional HR practices.
You will be :
- Ensure proactive, reliable, and timely completion of projects, aligned with global HR objectives while maintaining regulatory compliance. Approach tasks with high customer-centricity, manage complex HR requests, and be and expert in end-to-end HR scopes (i.e., hiring to separation, international and domestic movements, connection between HR processes with IT and Finance). Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs, ensuring high-quality data maintenance through regular checks, trend analysis, and tackling root causes of concerns.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to keep process documentation and training materials up-to-date. Ultimately in charge of governing the accuracy and completeness of documentations (working instructions and knowledge articles) by working closely with the ELM Senior Specialists.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (process efficiency, effectiveness, and automation) and be the primary ELM focal point for global and regional HR system projects.
- Foster effective collaboration within regional and global HR networks to understand pain points, proactively contribute in proposing solutions, and work closely with relevant teams on their implementation. Consistent and high-quality service deliveries are expected in this senior role.
- Execute system data maintenance and business process activities in support of P&C business processes when necessary, especially if they are required by critical projects. Build, support, and guide appropriate process execution, ensuring all HR processes comply with statutory and audit requirements.
Who You Are
In this role, you will be working within a team of specialists and ELM partners focusing on customer needs and collaborating with teams across various functions and levels within the organization.
You bring the following Experience:
- Mandatory 3 or more years of project management experience in the HR field.
- Strong knowledge of project management framework and tools.
- 8 or more years of HR experience whether as a generalist or specialist. Having good exposure to HR Shared Services/Global Business Services/Centre of Excellence operating models will be highly regarded.
- Extensive knowledge of end-to-end HR operations and how they connect to the IT and Finance teams. Ability to navigate complex HR Data structures, understand technical matters, and map concepts clearly to propose improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge in business solutions like Workday and Service Now. Savvy with AI tools, preparing dashboards, and presentation decks for effective story-telling.
- Fluent in English spoken and written. Additional languages are a plus.
