Job Description

The Role We are seeking an Employee Insights Consultant to join our dynamic APAC Talent & Capability team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging data analytics to drive insights and improvements in our employee listening and learning initiatives.

You will play a key role in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to track and optimise team outcomes and enhance organisational performance. This role will report to the Head of Learning & Development (L&D) but will support activities across the Talent & Capability function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Listening:
  • Support the operational delivery of SEEK's bi-annual employee engagement surveys, including platform configuration and testing, communications coordination, live monitoring and troubleshooting, stakeholder support, and survey execution to drive strong participation and data quality
  • Analyse engagement survey data and produce standard reports for various stakeholder groups, act as a subject matter expert to support deeper analysis and action planning processes as required
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding surveys
  • Support the development of an integrated employee listening approach by collecting and analysing data across multiple listening channels (engagement, onboarding, exit surveys) to identify themes and insights
  • Drive continuous improvement across employee listening channels (engagement, onboarding, and offboarding surveys) by identifying process enhancements, and recommending optimisations to improve data quality, participation, and stakeholder value Advise teams on designing and launching employee listening surveys using SEEK’s preferred platform provider
  • Data, systems, analytics, and reporting:
  • Maintain established data collection processes and systems in Talent & Capability, and proactively identify opportunities to streamline and improve data capture processes
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights from talent, leadership, succession, learning and core employee data to inform decision-making
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of learning programs and maintain data for dashboards to visualise and report on key metrics across the Talent & Capability function Support the testing (including UAT testing where applicable) and administration of core Talent & Capability systems, act as a point of contact for system issues and troubleshooting, and identify continuous improvement opportunities to optimise system management and functionality
  • Have oversight of the team’s technology landscape and maintain strong relationships with the People, Technology & Insights function to identify potential opportunities for optimisation Actively support any technology platform migrations
  • Knowledge management:
  • Support day-to-day execution of knowledge management within the Talent & Capability team
  • Project Management: 
  • Support the delivery of L&D initiatives by planning and coordinating timelines, tracking milestones and maintaining project documentation to ensure work is completed on schedule and within scope
  • Coordinate across L&D and the wider T&C team to identify overlaps or dependencies in scope, timelines and stakeholders Escalate risks and blockers early and identify solutions to keep the work moving

The Team

This is an individual contributor role in SEEK’s APAC Talent & Capability team, which is part of the People & Culture division. Other roles in the team include Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Coordinators in Learning & Development, Talent & Leadership, and Employee Insights. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur, and will be required to work closely with team members based in Melbourne.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business, or related field plus 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in setting up and conducting employee engagement surveys in large organisations is ideal
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Query and Power BI
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to think strategically about data to deliver valuable insights that support decision-making
  • Effective communication and facilitation skills for conveying technical concepts to non technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile environment
  • Project management skills, including setup, reporting, change management, and communication
  • Stakeholder and business engagement, with the ability to work across teams and cultures
  • Preferred experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technology platforms
