Overview

The primary responsibility of the Employee Engagement & Retention Specialist is to support the Sr Director of HR & Regional HR Team in ongoing efforts to continuously improve the overall employee experience to drive retention and support retention goals.

The Employee Engagement & Retention Specialist will take proactive steps to understand the unique employee perspective to improve their engagement with the company and clients served.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Regional HR to lead companywide survey and feedback initiatives
  • Provide strategic support to Regional HR Team and Company-Wide Retention Committees including local committees
  • Project Management support with special projects and development of new programs related to VA, Alzheimer's, Private Pay, etc. that support growth for the line of business
  • Partner with HR, Marketing and Communication Team as needed to drive celebration activities, electronic communications, company newsletters, and others as assigned
  • Utilizing metrics, data, and resources as needed to drive candidate and employee engagement including but not limited to: Weekly reporting, Power BI, HR Ops Resources, etc.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of operating systems, current industry trends, and opportunities for development and improvement
  • Understand and utilize approved resolution pathways available to retain employees by working professionally and collaboratively with other functions
  • Lead monthly or quarterly virtual HR Retention trainings as needed and actively review and update resources as needed
  • Support Regional HR Team with LOA/FML/ADAAA compliance and Regional HR Conformity and Comp initiatives and special projects
  • Maintain knowledge of company systems including but not limited to: HRIS, ADP, ATS, iCIMS, and POC
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Three or more years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Exhibit a high level of autonomy, initiative, collaboration, creativity, tenacity, resilience, and diplomacy
  • HR data analysis and identification of trends
  • Minimal travel
